PAVEMENT PRESENCE – How visible are you?

The way your store looks can make or break your business and rightly or wrongly a book is judged by its cover – your storefront is crucial to your business and making that first impression is vital in getting people through your doors to browse your store and essentially make a purchase!

Set the expectation

Your storefront is setting an expectation – it’s a promise of an experience yet to come. It should show your customers what you have to offer and what they may potentially be missing out on if they walk past your shop. A time to connect with your customers emotion – It needs to be crystal clear about what you do and what you’re promising. It needs to capture their attention and create positive impact, one that will intrigue them enough to want to comer inside and explore your store.

Ask yourself these questions:

-       Does your storefront show what you have to offer?

-       Do you say what you do?

-       Does it give a glimpse of what’s to come?

-       Does it entice customers in to find out more?

And don’t think a good display of your complete product range with an A board outside will do the trick! – you will need to boost your pavement presence to the max and think outside the box.

Consider:-

-       Dynamic and clever lighting in your window

-       Illuminated and colourful signage that is visible on all angles

-       Leaflet dispenser

-       A piece of theatre or memorable wow factor that stops people in their tracks

-       A tempting smell

-       Moving displays that attract the eye

-       Colour blocking in seasonal styling

Stand back from your shop, on the other side of the street and look and see what you can do; ask your friends, ask your customers – see what they say – you may be surprised by how much you can do for a little investment.
